aam2core acquires prestigious office and commercial building "Stadtfenster" in Dortmund


Frankfurt am Main, 07th August 2024 - Frankfurt based aam2core Holding AG has acquired the office and commercial building "Stadtfenster" at Hansastrasse 30 in Dortmund from CLS Holdings plc. The landmark building offers approximately 4,000 sqm of lettable space, consisting of generous office areas and 600 sqm for gastronomy and retail. The purchase price was not disclosed.


Originally built in the 1950s, the "Stadtfenster" has been extensively modernised and extended by two storeys. It features an architecturally striking glass facade with large glass windows that provide a stylish contrast to the rest of the exterior. It was also one of the first existing buildings in Germany to receive DGNB certification.

Sustainable features of the “Stadtfenster” include a photovoltaic system, state-of-the-art lighting control systems and innovative night ventilation for air conditioning. The preferred use of renewable building materials will contribute significantly to reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.


aam2core Holding AG plans to further optimise the building's technology and implement sustainable facility management strategies as well as green lease agreements with tenants.

The "Stadtfenster” is centrally located in Dortmund's city centre, just a few minutes’ walk from the main railway station and several public transport stops.
